"Creative Cities" Cultural Exchange Project
Creative Industries and Knowledge Economy in London, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shantou

Introduction
CREATIVE CITIES is an idea initiated between the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Londoon (ICA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture (HKICC) with the belief that London and Hong Kong are cities demonstrating varied degrees of progress in the development of their creative industries. Now, with ICA, the British Council, Hong Kong and HKICC as the key organizers, it has been turned into reality and has extended the exchange project to Beijing and Shantou in view of their recent development in a similar direction.
